What it is meant to do
Get to the right words in under a minute
The realistic situation is a corridor, a phone in one hand, and a family waiting. Saved resources, recent items, and a search that starts from what is happening rather than from a tradition name.
Work when the network does not
Hospital wi-fi fails in exactly the rooms where this matters. An offline pack, chosen by you and cached on the device, plus printable bundles for a unit so a folder can live at the nurses’ station. A booklet still beats a dead battery, and we would rather match that than argue with it.
Know who to call
The honest answer is often a person rather than a text. A referral directory of clergy and community contacts by tradition and region, verified and maintained, so “involve someone from this tradition” comes with a phone number instead of a search.
A space for your institution
Hospitals, hospices, funeral homes, universities, prison and military chaplaincy. Your own team’s saved material, your local notes alongside ours, and an embeddable view for an intranet page. Your notes stay yours; they are not folded into the public corpus.
Ask for what is missing
Request coverage for a tradition-and-occasion pairing you actually need. Those requests decide what gets written next and which reviewers we recruit first, because a queue built from real requests beats one built from our guesses.
What it will not become
- Not a patient record. Nothing about a specific person is stored here, and this is not a place to note what someone asked for.
- Not a paywall on the prayers. The corpus stays free and open to everyone. The account is for saving, offline use, and team features.
- Not a credential. Using this area does not qualify anyone to lead a rite in a tradition that is not theirs, and the guidance will keep saying so.
